Our nursery is a place to explore, get inspired, and experience bonsai in person. Walk through our greenhouses filled with bonsai, pre-bonsai, pottery, tools, supplies, and seasonal finds. Whether you are just getting started or have been practicing bonsai for years, there is always something new to discover.
Formerly known as New England Bonsai Gardens, Bonsai Outlet continues to welcome visitors from across New England and beyond.
We are conveniently located about:
- 1 hour from Boston
- 30 minutes from Providence
- 90 minutes from Hartford
- 4 hours from New York City
Even if you cannot visit in person, we are online 24 hours a day and ship throughout the USA.
Nursery Hours & Availability
- Saturday: Open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday: Open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Monday – Friday: Curbside pickup available
If you selected curbside pickup at checkout, please email us to coordinate your curbside pickup before arriving, or wait for our confirmation email, so we can have your order ready.
Weekday appointments: Available by advance scheduling.
Because we are a working nursery, weekday visits must be arranged in advance. Our team is often busy unloading trucks, watering, treating plants, and caring for the nursery, so we may not be available to assist walk-in visitors during the week.

Weather & Holiday Notes
We are closed on major holidays. For weather-related updates, please check our Bonsai Outlet Facebook page. In the event of severe weather or a major snowstorm, we will also update our voicemail system.
Winter Seasonal Closure
We close for a few weeks during the winter season. Dates can vary slightly each year, but we are typically closed from the day before Christmas until mid- to late February.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90):
Take I-495 South to Exit 18. Turn left onto Route 126 South. At the second light, turn left to stay on Route 126. We are about 4 miles ahead on the right, at the corner of North Street and Route 126. Turn right onto North Street. Our driveway is on the left.
From I-95:
Take I-495 North to Exit 17. Turn left onto Route 140 North. Go about 2 miles, then turn left onto Route 126 South. We are about 2 miles ahead on the right, at the corner of North Street and Route 126.
