This dwarf cultivar is characterized by its slow growth rate, vibrant blue-gray needles, and distinctive rounded shape, making it an attractive choice for various landscaping applications.

Characteristics 

  • Growth Habit: The Dwarf Colorado Blue Spruce typically grows to about 3 to 5 feet tall and can spread up to 5 feet wide, maintaining a dense, rounded form. Its growth rate is slow, averaging only 1 to 6 inches per year, which classifies it as a dwarf conifer.
  • Foliage: The needles are a striking silvery-blue color, particularly vibrant in spring when new growth emerges. This color remains throughout the year, providing year-round interest in the garden.

Maintenance
